How to Optimise/Boost your broadband/DSL connection ?
Actually you can not exceed the limit of your broadband speed restricted by your provider by this trick but you can boost your internet speed by this method.
So here is the trick stepwise:
- Open your registry and find the key below.
- Create the following DWORD values, as values will not already exist you’ll need to create them by clicking on ‘Edit -> New -> DWORD Value’ and then set the value as shown below.
DefaultTTL = “80″ hex (or 128 decimal)
EnablePMTUBHDetect = “0″
EnablePMTUDiscovery = “1″
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = “7FFF” hex (or 32767 decimal)
TcpMaxDupAcks = “2″
SackOpts = “1″
Tcp1323Opts = “1″
TcpWindowSize = “7FFF” hex (or 32767 decimal)
Now exit your registry editor and restart the windows xp.
If you don’t know how to edit registry, don’t mess with it as it can cause problem to your pc.
This trick is not written by me. I have got this trick from somewhere and thought to share with you guys.

That’s a nice tip but please share how much effective it is. Percentage changes in speed will do great before and after implementing the registry changes.
