
There are times when you must start up your Windows XP computer system in Safe Mode, for example if you need to remove certain malwares, viruses, spyware, Trojans, keyloggers, adware, etc that cannot be removed while in standard mode. Sometimes You Also need to Boot in Safe Mode to Unhide/Show the Administrator Account in Windows.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1 : Close any programs you have open and reboot your computer.
Step2 : Watch for your BIOS to finish loading (this will be displayed on screen)
Step3 : Press the F8 key, and hold until the screen appears
Step4 : Use the arrow keys of your keyboard to get to “Safe Mode.” Press Enter. . Your PC will now reboot in Safe Mode.
Step5 : Wait for the process to complete, as it may take a few minutes
Step6 : Once you have resolved the issue you were working on, close all the programs you have open, and then reboot your PC as normal.
